Positive Behavior Support Meaningful Day Activity Course (Clinton)

$10 per registrant

Description:              

This course will address identifying and providing meaningful versus non-meaningful activities for individuals when in day support centers. Additionally, attendees will have “homework” assignments between the first and second classroom days. The “homework” will involve attendees identifying existing non-meaningful activities in their day programs using criteria presented on the first class day and developing an improvement plan to change the activities to meaningful ones. The attendees will then be required to present their plans to the entire class on the second day to receive peer and instructor feedback.

  1. Complete the Positive Behavior Support Course registration form at http://uscm.med.sc.edu/cdrhome/positivebehavior_registration1.asp and submit electronically.  Be sure to print out a copy of the form for your records before submitting. You will receive a confirmation of your registration.
