Council on Consumer Affairs (COCA)

The Council on Consumer Affairs (COCA) teams with the Center for Disability Resources (CDR) staff in helping to make the lives of people with disabilities and their families better in South Carolina. As a geographically and culturally diverse group, made up of people with disabilities, their family members, and representatives of various disability organizations, including staff of CDR, the COCA provides substantial input to the CDR in understanding the needs and concerns of our disability community.

The COCA work plan includes:

*an annual survey

*interdisciplinary pre-service training; and the

*reviewing of materials developed by CDR projects.
